We wanted to draw your attention to an online petition we started asking for an open and free Internet in Europe, that can be found at www.euopeninternet.eu and that has been able to collect over 4000 signatures in 4 days and with no budget at all to make a buzz (unless good will counts).
If you consider this petition worthy of your support, we would appreciate receiving your signature(s) and if you could pass it on! This petition has become even more important since the European Parliament last night decided to focus negotiations on the EU telecoms package on amendment 138, leaving many flawed provisions in the package, but hinting they would address the issue of “net neutrality” at a later stage.
